Information For Assignors
Requirements for Metro DC-Virginia SRP Assignors
To be granted direct access to the database of DCV Certified Referees, assignors must be certified for the current year as a DCV referee assignor. No one may use the Officials Management System or the Game Officials database system for anything other than assigning referees to US Soccer sanctioned games and activities associated with the State Referee Program.
Eligibility requirements to become an assignor:
Must 18 years old or older.
Must have been a referee sometime in their career.

Referee Misconduct Allegations: Procedures For Assignors
Assignor actions upon receiving a report of referee misconduct or inappropriate behavior:
Request a report from team officials of both teams, club or league officials at the game, spectators at the game, and the other referees at the game.
Contact the referee; ask the referee to explain what occurred, and explain that the reported behavior could result in disciplinary action.
Report the reported referee behavior to the State Referee Program office via email to Carol Shaeffer <mdcvasrp@erols.com>.
Remove the referee from future games until the report is adequately investigated.
After confirming the inappropriate behavior of the referee, inform other assignors in the area.
