The Metro DC-Virginia State Referee Program is currently supporting research to understand why some soccer referees continue with refereeing while others drop out.  Over the next week, referees in the Virginia and District of Columbia will be receiving a survey via email from Jake Milne, a senior referee and a Doctoral Student at Virginia Tech. The survey asks about their experiences refereeing.

The State Referee Committee asks that you take the time and fill out this survey as the information will provide valuable information for the referee program.  We are particularly interested in knowing the experiences of former referees.  However, we are in need of information from both current and former referees.

All information will remain confidential and only the summary results and findings will be shared with the State Referee Committee. If you have any questions about the survey please contact Jake at jamilne@vt.edu.
