The Metro DC-Virginia State Referee Program is pleased to announce that, in conjunction with DC United, the 2003 MLS Cup Champions, we will be continuing the Referee Night at RFK for the 2005 MLS season.  After the home games listed below, DC United will host an instruction session at RFK Stadium to review pertinent events during the game and provide an opportunity to meet the match officials to discuss match incidents.  The instruction session will count as accredited in-service training for referees in Grade 8 and below, registered in the DCV area and who can document their attendance at all three sessions.

 

The matches are: 

  
 Saturday, 9 July vs. Kansas City at 6:00 PM
 Saturday, 13 August vs. Chivas USA at 4:00 PM
 Saturday, 15 October vs. Columbus at 7:30 PM

Referees may order tickets at $18 individually or through their respective clubs.   This is an excellent program for young referees who are in the entry level grades.  For further information, please contact DC United.
