READ ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS BELOW

If you received a 2024 badge/were certified for 2024, you need to complete recertification for 2025 between July 2024 and May 2025.  You will not be able to referee after December 2024 until you complete recertification and receive your 2025 referee badge.  There is no classroom or field training required for 2025 recertification.

TO START.  Go to our Officials Management System (OMS):  https://mdcvasrp.omgtsys.com 

1.  Select “Member Sign In.”  Enter your username and password.
2.  Select "Registration" on the Menu Bar at the top of the page.
3.  Select "Register for a Clinic / Fitness Test."
4.  On the next page, update your personal information.
5.  On the next page, answer the "Yes/No" question and more questions will be revealed.
Select your Offical Type(s) and Registration Type.  You can return to request other Official Types later.     
Select Referee and Recertification.
6.  On the next page, Reserve Course SA-04-0525-GRRCT.
7.  Follow the directions to Checkout and pay the $85.00 by credit card.

Be sure to scroll down to the bottom of each page to be able to select the next page.

ONLINE LESSONS.   There are twelve lessons to your recertification annual training:

1.  2025 Law Changes and Clarifications  (20 minutes)
2.  2024-2025 Laws of the Game  (5 minutes) 
3.  2025 Referee Recertification Assignment  (45 minutes)
4.  Referee Recert Test - Part 1  (15 minutes)
5.  Referee Recert Test - Part 2  (15 minutes)
6.  Referee Recert Test - Part 3  (15 minutes)
7.  Referee Recert Test - Part 4  (15 minutes)

     DO NOT CREATE A NEW LOGIN AT THE LEARNING CENTER.  YOU ALREADY HAVE ONE.  Select "Log In" at the Learning Center.  DO NOT SELECT "SIGN UP".
8.  LC Intro to Safety (Learning Center)  (40 minutes)
9.  LC SafeSport (Learning Center)  (90 or 15 minutes)

Complete the online lessons by selecting “Start” beside each lesson, in order.

Everyone must complete Lessons 1 – 8.

Lesson 9, SafeSport Training, is required for referees 18 years or older, or who are turning 18 during the 2024 calendar year.  Lesson 10 will show "complete" for referees who are not 18 or not turning 18.

When you complete the online lessons, we can approve your 2025 referee certification. You will receive your 2025 badge by mail in about two weeks.  Make sure your address is correct in OMS.
